NSPS provides residential and light commercial property improvement services, including maintenance, repairs, and renovations. All work performed will be based on the written or digital estimate approved by the customer.
2. Estimates and Proposals
- Estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
- Any additional work requested beyond the original estimate will require written approval and may incur additional costs.
- Pricing may be adjusted in the event of material cost changes or unforeseen project conditions.
3. Scheduling and Completion
We strive to complete all work on schedule. However, project timelines may be affected by factors outside our control, such as:
- Weather delays
- Supply chain issues
- Contractor or subcontractor availability
We are not liable for delays caused by such events.
4. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of services unless prior arrangements have been made. Accepted payment methods include cash, check, or electronic transfer.
Invoices not paid within 10 days may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month (or the maximum allowed by Maine law).
5. Insurance and Liability
NSPS and its contractors are fully insured for liability and workers’ compensation. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, hidden structural defects, or conditions not visible at the time of estimate.
6. Warranty
Workmanship is warranted for 1 year from completion, unless otherwise specified. Manufacturer warranties apply to products and materials used.
7. Customer Responsibilities
The customer agrees to:
- Provide clear access to work areas.
- Secure pets and valuables.
- Obtain any necessary permits unless otherwise stated in writing.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Maine. Any disputes shall be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction within Penobscot County.
